Don't Fall Asleep : A Nightmare On Elm Street Fan Film

Recently we collaborated with our friend Diandra Lazor on a really cool poster project. We worked together to recreate the iconic one sheet to the original A Nightmare On Elm Street. Diandra is not only the ultimate Nightmare fan, she is also the biggest Nancy Thompson fan we have ever met.

It was a no brainer to work with her to bring that image to life and I feel we truly succeeded in doing so. Diandra was kind enough to take time out her full schedule to make that happen, the rest of the time she was hard at work with a group of other devoted Elm Street fans on a major passion project. That project was the fan film "Don't Fall Asleep". Diandra stepped seamlessly into the role of her hero Nancy Thompson for the film. Directed by Paige Troxell and written by Michelle Diceglio, Troxell and Lazor, "Don't Fall Asleep" is intended to fill in the gaps in Nancy's story between the end of the original Nightmare on Elm Street and A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 The Dream Warriors. I don't think you will find a more passionate group of fans as they have put there all into creating something they truly believed in. They also have a big seal of approval with Nancy herself Heather Langenkamp lending her talents to Narrate the film. I know how much this means to Diandra and everyone involved and I am very happy for them to finally have their just premiered their film at the recent Days of The Dead convention in Louisville this past weekend. Now it out there for the world to see. Show them some much deserved love and check out the synopsis and film below!

"When her nightmares became a reality, nothing would be the same again for Nancy Thompson. With her mother and friends dead and her relationship with her father slowly slipping away, Nancy is alone. As she struggles to regain faith in herself, Nancy must rise to become what the other kids on Elm Street desperately need: a Dream Warrior.

Don’t Fall Asleep tells the story of Nancy Thompson after the events of A Nightmare on Elm Street and before her return in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors."
