TrueHorror.net presents CLUB RADIO : October Mix Vol. 5 Mixed by Ryan Harris

One of my favorite traditions at TrueHorror.net is pepping our annual October Mixes. Last year's House of the Devil inspired mix received a great response and I was really happy with how it turned out. This year it took a bit longer for me to find inspiration, but soon enough it came in the form of  one of my favorite horror films, Fright Night and it's famous nightclub scene. 

As this year's mix started coming together slowly, it wouldn't have been fully realized without the help of my friend Ryan Harris who returns after mixing last years edition. He sent me over some of his latest music and there were two songs in particular that really just brought it all together. Those songs are "Consequence of Love" and "I'm Gonna Get You", both of which are found within this mix. You can find more of Ryan's music here

Our past two mixes featured plenty of film scores, mixed in with songs and other horror tinged instrumental music. This mix is a much more straight forward project meant to evoke the soundscapes one would encounter if they entered Club Radio on that same night Charlie Brewster and Amy were there hiding from Jerry Dandridge the Vampire. So turn the volume up loud, as this mix is meant to get you and moving during this homestretch of October. It even ends with a little Halloween treat.
