Witching Season Films

I always say my favorite thing about TrueHorror.net is the cool, like minded people we get to meet thanks to the site. Case in point, Michael and Sadie Ballif. Michael is the mind behind Witching Season Films, who specializes in bringing Halloween themed short films to life.

 Some time ago via our instagram page we came across (or vice versa) the Witching Season films account. I remember watching the intro to their films they had created and thought to myself how cool it was. It was right up my alley, music (by none other than Slasher Dave) and all. Admittedly I had kind of lost track of their projects for a bit, and recently with October rolling around I made it a point to check them out again and also started to follow Michael and his wife Sadie's personal pages. What followed were good conversations about the admiration for each other's work and all things Halloween. They are certainly two of the nicest people we have come across and look forward to talking more about the mutual love for horror and October.

There are many people out there who like making short films so it can be difficult to set oneself apart. One thing you will immediately notice is the quality of their films. Everything looks great and professional. They know what they are doing, which makes it all the more fun to watch when something is done so well. They currently have three films available with a new one, their most ambitious yet, coming very soon to help celebrate this current season that is upon us.
